Wrens Blossom

The branches of the bramble, have climbed and curled their way through the woodland, and now they have finally bloomed with their beautiful pale pink petals. Flitting around the woods a wren bods onto its branch and watch as a white-tailed bumblebee buzzes around the blooms.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the wren, blossom, leaves and bumblebee were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and three-dimensional techniques.

This piece has been professionally framed, with a white mount and white box frame, with glass. It is ready to hang.
