Upon Reflection

Basking in the sunshine a, delicate Mayfly perches upon a leaf of a Bullrush, whose flower head has started to seed. Resting just above the water its reflection is cast below.
 
This piece is displayed in a glass and brass box with a mirror bottom, closed this piece measuring 11cm X 11cm X 8cm.
