Uplifting

A red-breasted robin alights gracefully on a garden pitchfork firmly planted amidst a sea of delicate snowdrops. A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Robin, pitch folk, leaves and snowdrops were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
