Sweet Hearts

With tails wrapped around each other, this pair of sweethearts lovingly sit upon the toadstool overlooking the view, enjoying each others company.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the mice, toadstalls, leaves and moss were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
