Robin's Garden Watch

Perched delicately on the worn handle of a garden trowel, the robin gazes down in quiet curiosity as a bee buzzes away from a vibrant nasturtium bloom. The air hums with life, as bird and bee share a fleeting moment in the garden’s gentle embrace.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the robin, bee, blossom and trowel were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
