Renewal In Bloom

In the vibrant tapestry of springtime, a spirited harvest mouse embarks on a whimsical adventure, scaling the towering stalk of a dandelion flower. With each careful step, it ascends to the pinnacle, where it perches, tail wrapped snugly around the golden bloom, surveying the world below with wide-eyed wonder.
 
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the harvest mouse, stem and flowers were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
