Potluck

Amidst a garden adorned with the soft carpet of clover, a cheeky hedgehog with quills raised in anticipation playfully investigates a pot. With its nose deep in the pot, it tips it, barely balancing. The ingenious snail, quick on its path, eludes the hedgehog's quest.
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Hedgehog, pot, snail and clover were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
