Passion For Life

High in the canopies of the Amazon Rainforest, there are many wonders to be witnessed, none as innocent and pure as these baby Marmosets. Surrounded by the beautiful fragrance of the fruiting, blossoming passion fruit, the siblings clutch joyfully onto the branch awaiting their family.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Marmoset, flowers, fruits and leaves was achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
