On The Prowl

Deep in the woodlands of pine, a mysterious blue shadow is cast upon the forest floor. Hiding amongst the pine leaves and cones a beautiful amber fox is on the prowl for its next meal.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the fox, pine and pinecones were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
