In The Hedgerow
Twisting and turning this wild honeysuckle blooms, making a small thicket amongst the hedgerow. If one waits long enough, a pair of Bullfinches can be seen darting in and out with the faint sound of chirping.
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Bullfinches, nest, flowers and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, textile techniques.
