Fields Of Gold

Bathed in the golden light of the afternoon sun, a fox sits quietly amidst the long grass, gazing out over the patchwork of farms, fields, and woodland below. The peaceful landscape stretches out before it, a tranquil expanse where nature and serenity intertwine in the warm embrace of the countryside.
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the fox, grass and seed heads were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
