Daisy Daydreams

In a sun-dappled meadow adorned with daisies, a curious duckling quakes with delight as a speckled wood butterfly flutters by, its tiny wings a fleeting whisper of nature's grace. The duckling's innocent wonder and the butterfly's delicate flight create a moment of pure joy, a testament to the simple, enchanting beauty of spring. 
 
Several techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Robin, blossom and leaves were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.
