Bloom's Tiny Dreamer

Amidst a colourful garden bursting with blooms, there was a bearded iris flower in full splendour. Inside its delicate petals, hidden from the world, lay a tiny harvest mouse, peacefully slumbering. 
 
A number of techniques and mediums were used in the creation of this piece. The background is fabric painted and the Harvest mouse, bud and bloom were achieved through quilting, applique, embroidery, and textile techniques.

This piece has been professionally framed, with a white mount and white box frame, with glass. It is ready to hang.
